Guess what? Sweats are making a comeback. Well, sweatshirts are on the rise again, anyway. Remember back in the day when there was nothing more comfortable and fashionable than wearing your favorite sweatshirt? Maybe it was loose, maybe it was long, maybe it was tight, maybe it was sloppy — it didn’t matter, because it looked good and you felt good in it.
Well, this fall, you can embrace that feeling again. It is a nod to the fact that the styles of the 80s are coming back with a vengeance. This is one of the few 80s styles that I can actually live with comfortable.
It is also perfectly acceptable to cut off the neck or the shoulders. Or you can buy your sweatshirt that way, as with this Vintage Havana “Live Free” Off the Shoulder Sweatshirt from Bloomingdales!

Fashion simply is not fashion without the accessories, and Phashion would not be Phashion if we did not take the time to tell you what to expect in the way of jewelry trends in the coming months of fall and winter.
Right now, it looks like necklaces will provide the centerpieces of most jewelry collections. Accentuating your neck line is what it is all about this fall.
Specifically, bib necklaces like the one featured here are the way to go, specifically because they are so bold and attention grabbing.
Flowers are another upcoming jewelry trend. Rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces — if it is floral, then it is fabulous. This is also a great way to keep some spring and summer brightness during the grey months of the coming winter.
As well, rhinestones, studs, chains, metals, and lots of silver for a rock and roll look will do you well!

Lately – lately all I have heard about is Lily Allen and what this chick is up to! I have heard about her shifting her hair, her modeling career in general and just how little clothing she has been wearing lately. Finally, I am going to vent a little bit and actually post something about her because why not? She is all over every other fashion blog, why not mine?
Lily Allen is one of those models that everyone in the world seems to want and while that is a good thing most of the time, she is also one girl that has been all over the board! She was an ungainly teenager in big – big hoop earrings all the way to posing for GQ now … topless. For all of you guys that absolutely love this model, she is going to be pretty much naked in GQ in October.
She has also cemented her place in GQ’s hall of fame by being name Woman of the Year – big surprise right?

Fall is finally upon us – after all, Labor Day has passed and the kids are back in school and finally, I am pulling that comforter from the closet and making sure that it is on my bed. The days are getting colder and slowly but surely – the fashion is creeping into the fall and winter collections. Not Cushnie et Ochs though, this is one major brand that is still thinking about 2010 Spring fashion trends.
The Cushnie et Ochs brand itself is a label for women that are looking for fashion that has a sexual nature behind it. It is for women that are looking to blur the line between sophisticated and sexy – what line? It is also a line that combines sheer fabric with solids and they all look beautiful!
To be honest, I think that Cushnie et Ochs is a brand that is going to be very, very popular in 2010 – just watch and wait!

So you are looking for some incredible hair products? Well, Pantene is actually one of the most affordable hair product lines and also the best on the market. The great thing? The hair products actually adapt to your hair! You can truly find something that will work for your hair and we all know that on the runway, your hair is certainly something that matters and to me … that is all that matters.
Pantene hair products are something that I have been using forever and the full and thick collection is certainly one of my favorites. Not only does it help thinner hair resist damage, but it really does leave your hair thick and full of shine and volume, which is exactly what every woman wants – right?
Once you get done shampooing and conditioning your hair up, you can throw on some mousse and truly your hair will look awesome! Remember, Pantene is the best out there people!

When you are looking for a fashionable hairdo, it can be a hard thing to achieve – especially if you do not have a beautiful and talented stylist like Carrie Fernow at your fingertips. However — Carrie Fernow has shared some awesome tips with us so you can achieve this very fashion-forward hairdo at home! Below, we are going to dive into how you can create this hairstyle, so stay tuned!
Firstly, just to note that a few extensions were added for some extra length as well as fullness, so you may want to do the same thing. After that, Carrie Fernow applied some Redken Outshine 01 Anti-Frizz Polishing Milk to wet hair, which helped Rachel’s hair withstand any frizz.
The wet hair was sections and blow-dried straight and once it was almost completely dry, Fernow sectioned the hair again and sprayed on some Redken Fabricate 03 Heat-Active Texturizer from mid-shaft to end.
From there, a curling iron was set into motion and then some instant finishing spray – all of which did not take long at all! You should absolutely check this look out!

When I think about lingerie being worn as outerwear, I think that it is an awesome trend – that seriously rocks. This is especially true in Germany, where, wearing your lingerie as your outerwear is very in right now. Take these stockings for example. When you have a back seam that is that beautiful and interesting, you definitely can not hide it behind a pair of jeans or a skirt – right? I wouldn’t think so!
Wolford is the designer behind these beautiful stockings and I think that this particular designer/brand really knows how to work this particular trend right. The stockings themselves are something that look awesome when they are on … and truly, it looks like you have some hands holding some string on your skin, which is the whole point!
Wolford is the leader for stocking-wear and I think that this pair of stockings is just the beginning!

When I think of fashion, I think of an ever-changing market and that is something that I actually look forward too. I get tired of seeing the exact same thing all of the time and that is something that fashion is not – the same thing all of the time. Take Zara’s brand new collection for the Fall and Winter months of this year – it s very fashion-forward and has a lot of urban ties into it.
Zara is a brand that I was not familiar with until just now and honestly, I think that it is a brand that I am going to familiarize myself with. Their newest collection is a mixture of thigh high boots, boyfriend jeans and accentuated shoulders, which is all something that I love!
Another great thing about Zara is that they feature all sorts of different Toni Garrn models, which are all beautiful and fit the clothes fantastic!

Much to the dismay of fashionistas all over the world, 80s style has been coming back with a vengeance. Leggings are everywhere — and sorry, folks, but even when I wore those in third grade, they weren’t the coolest things ever. We thought they were, but we thought layering slouch socks over them was cool too, and guess what? It wasn’t.
I keep waiting for leg warmers and aerobics wear to make a comeback as well, ala that atrocious Olivia Newton-John video for “Physical.” And I think that time is drawing well nigh, because look what we spotted here.
Very immense shoulder pads. Seriously, it looks like she is actually wearing football pads under her jacket. And why would anyone want to do that?
Because they are trying to make my eyes bleed, that’s why. Maybe that’s egocentric, but that is my take on the matter because shoulder pads are AWFUL.

Afira, a British label, is looking to bring back romantic gothic fashions in a major way — and, it has to be said, from what I have seen, they are doing it very well.
Androgyny is a major trend in the coming seasons; it is that one intriguing leitmotif that keeps cropping up again and again, both for men’s fashions and women’s fashions.
That is the signature twist for Afira’s fashions as well. There is something decidedly raw and masculine in the leather pieces of this collection, which perfectly complement the dainty elements to be found in the sheer fabrics and figure hugging designs.
So I for one am looking forward to seeing gothic fashions emerge into the mainstream. This is extremely well done, both elegant and edgy.
