Spring is a time for color and that all holds true whenever you are dealing with makeup. Personally, I think that makeup is something that changes over time and over the seasons and while in the summer the red lip might not be popular, during the spring it is going to be! Whether you are looking for Scarlet, Cherry, Carmine, Ruby – all of these colors are in style this season and it does not matter which brand you get, as long as it is red!

Personally, I love the classic red lip. I think that it looks incredible, is absolutely appealing in all of the right ways and if you do it right and pick the right shade for your skin tone; you can definitely attract some incredible men … or women if you like.

So come on, pull out your little black dress and pair it with some red lips!

Agent Provocateur: This Lingerie Designer Branches Out!

Okay, so I have to admit that I have done quite a few posts on other blogs about Agent Provocateur and he is by far my favorite lingerie designer in the world! So I had to throw something of his up here for all of you to see! These stockings to me are incredible. They definitely look sexy and they are totally freakin’ awesome! To me — Agent Provocateur out did himself when he came out with these, but that it just me.

One of the latest trends that I’ve noticed latest is wearing your lingerie as outer clothing instead of under your clothes and these stockings are a perfect example of why you should absolutely wear your lingerie over your clothes! They look incredible, are fun, flirty and all around beautiful!

So keep up the trend and definitely make sure that you look at some of Agent Provocateur’s latest and greatest collections of lingerie!

Katy Perry Creates Her Own Line: For Fashion Against AIDS

So really, I have to be honest, I am a chick that loves Katy Perry. I think that she is a rock star in her own right and I definitely think that she has what it takes to rule this world. I love her style, her fashion sense and really – really everything about this chick and when I found out that she is actually quite the fashion buff and she created her own line for Fashion Against AIDs, well that made me love her all that much more!

She is one of those girls that you would think that she wouldn’t be into fashion at all – but she definitely is and she actually thinks of herself as a ‘girly girl’, which is kinda crazy. So if you are looking for something that is different and totally off the wall, you should absolutely check out Katy’s signature line.

I’m sure that you will fall for it just like I did! It … truly is incredible dudes and chicks!

Fashion For The Rain!

To be completely honest, not a lot of designers really think about the rain whenever they are dealing with fashion. It is just not something that they consider a high priority but really, it is! Especially this month! Rain is something that we all have to deal with and honestly, I think that more fashion designers should be cautious about the rain.

Take this incredible picture for example, this model has absolutely no problems with the rain and really – that is the way that it should be. I also saw a whole lot of fashionable items that were designed around and for rainy weather. Heart-shaped umbrellas, rain coats, rain boots …

Seriously, I love … love rain coats and I think that they are one of the sexiest things in the world! So do not fret about the rain ladies and gentlemen! Designers are thinking outside of the box.

Paging Madonna: Pull Out those Ripped Tights!

This winter and spring, we can look forward to a lot of blasts from the past when it comes to fashion. In particular, a lot of the fashion trends we … “enjoyed” in the 80s will be making a comeback in the upcoming seasons. I know, I know — most of us are left wondering why and hoping that overalls and tie dyed tee shirts will not be included in that comeback. Some aspects of style need to stay one hit wonders. However, those of you who used to be enormous Madonna fans back when she was still a Material Girl are going to want to keep reading…

…so that you can rejoice in the reemergence of ripped stockings. Oh yeah. If you have a pair of pantyhose with tons of runs or some ripped up black tights you’re still hanging onto, haul them out of your drawers, there is a place for them. Specifically, when you pair them with short skirts and chunky, clunky shoes, you’ll be able to make a serious splash on the style scene. And really, of all the 80s trends which could possibly come out of hiding, this one isn’t half so bad. The whole ragged waif look has always been a winner. Just make sure you don’t start spending a fortune buying ripped up stockings at the store. You can do it yourself at home!

Should You Save Your Outdated Fashion?

I thought that I would take a moment to prove the old adage that if you hold on to a fashion piece long enough, it will come back into style. These photos are from two separate designers, and from years apart. They are so similar that if you bought the first one in 2005, you could surely wear it again in the coming Spring months and people will burst over how “in style” you are. The first is a Balenciaga from the Fall/Winter 2005 Collection. The second is from the Lanvin Spring/Summer 2008 collection. Notice how similar they are. It just goes to show that designs never really go out of style, they just hibernate for a bitJ

The Oligio Tissew Spring/Summer line is fabulous. It’s filled with sporty and fun looks and beautiful colors for the coming warm months. From the lilac purples to the printed shirts, everything is gorgeous. And the models all look as if they really enjoy wearing these designs, which I think is very important. After all, if they don’t look good, we don’t look good, right? Anyway, I love the boots with the shorts. That is a very sexy look. Overall this catwalk show seemed to be a huge hit. Even the oversized floppy hats looked great!
